CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.





It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

...i've had the same one for 2 years and im not complaining =] its a ceramic iron so it won't damage your hair..but i have been through so many straightners!!!! and i highly recommend this one dn't go waste $100-$200 or a chi when this is the same value for less money and what girl does'nt like a bargain!!! hope you get one, you won't be dissapointed =] ..
The original 1 inch, ive used mine for 5 years about 5 times a day and left it heat nearly every day for my full 8 hour shift and its in perfect condition
